Remnant Recap:
What Happened: Rev. Franklin Graham accused recent anti-ICE protests following the death of Renee Good in Minneapolis of being driven by radical socialist forces.
Why It Matters: Graham warned the rhetoric and chants reflect a broader effort to destabilize the country and incite violence against law enforcement.
Bottom Line: Graham urged Americans to pray for President Trump and his administration, saying America’s only hope is God.
Rev. Franklin Graham is not mincing words, and frankly, it is refreshing.
Following violent and hateful chants at protests targeting ICE after the death of Renee Good in Minneapolis, Graham called out what many Americans already see. This is not organic outrage. It is coordinated radicalism.
“Have you seen the reports of protesters — or paid agitators — chanting unbelievable things like, ‘Save a life, kill ICE!’ or ‘Kristi Noem will hang’?” Graham wrote in a Facebook post seen by millions. He warned that the protests are “underpinned by the radical socialist left, whose goal is to make the United States like Venezuela, ultimately destroying the America we know.”
That is not hyperbole. That is pattern recognition.
Graham said many people flooding the streets have no idea they are being used. “Lying, stealing, cheating — nothing is out of bounds in order to grab power,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, many people joining these protests have no clue that they are just being used as pawns.”
Graham also addressed the Jan. 7 shooting of Renee Good by an ICE officer. While acknowledging the tragedy, he emphasized a basic truth that too many have forgotten. Obey law enforcement.
“If they tell you to raise your hands, raise your hands; if they tell you to get out of the car, get out of the car,” Graham wrote. “Argue with them in court and let a judge decide who is right or wrong, but you should not take a chance of getting hurt.”
According to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Good stalked ICE agents, refused commands, and nearly ran over an officer who had previously been injured in another vehicular attack. Video footage shows the SUV striking the agent moments before shots were fired.
President Donald Trump described Good as a “professional agitator” and warned that attacks on law enforcement are increasing due to threats from the radical left.
Graham closed with a call this country desperately needs to hear again. Prayer.
“I encourage you to pray,” he wrote. “Pray for President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and all the Cabinet and leadership of our nation.”
He cited Psalm 11:3. “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
In a moment where chaos is being dressed up as compassion, Graham’s message cuts through the noise. America does not need more mobs. It needs truth, order, repentance, and God.
