  • What Happened: Former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton refused to comply with House Oversight subpoenas tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

  • Why It Matters: Chairman James Comer says the committee will move to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for defying a lawful subpoena.

  • Bottom Line: Republicans say no one is above the law and the Epstein probe will move forward with or without Clinton cooperation.

The Clinton playbook is back, and it looks exactly like you would expect.

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have refused to testify in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, openly defying subpoenas that demanded closed door depositions.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer is not letting it slide.

“We will move next week in the House Oversight Committee markup to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress,” Comer said.

This is not a scheduling dispute. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a flat refusal to answer questions in a congressional investigation tied to one of the most disturbing criminal networks in modern history.

The Epstein case is not ancient history. It is a black hole of power, money, influence, and protection. Americans watched as elites walked free while victims were ignored. Now Congress is demanding answers, and the Clintons are saying no.

That response tells you plenty.

This is exactly why people no longer trust Washington. Regular Americans miss a court date and face consequences. Powerful political families defy subpoenas and act like the rules do not apply.

Comer’s move toward contempt is not about politics. It is about the rule of law. Congress issues subpoenas for a reason, and ignoring them is not optional, even for former presidents.

If the Clintons have nothing to hide, there is a very simple solution. Show up. Tell the truth. Answer the questions.

Instead, they are daring Congress to blink.

This time, Comer says it will not.
